I found this quote about a woman being full circle so wanted to use it with one of my projects. I thought it would look great cut up and spread out so opted to put together a Globecraft Memories bubble frame with a sewing theme that could then be mounted to canvas. I used the Classic Grand Oval Bubble Frame here but chose not to use all layers.
Use Vintage Photo Distress Ink to color the frame and edge the larger frame with an Adirondack Metallic Gold Paint Dabber. The background in the frame is stamped with a button stamp from Red Lead - it is the perfect size to cover the background - and it fit the theme!
Images inside the frame are from Wendy Vecchi (bust form) and Crafty Secrets (sewing accessories) and the needle, thread and snaps are real sewing essentials. Items can be popped up to create dimension and the globe still provides protection.
Trim the Prima paper, Nature Garden, to fit just inside the perimeter of a 10-inch-by-10-inch canvas. Chew up the edges a bit with an edge distressor and ink the edges slightly with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, to tie the colors into the frame. After printing the quote outline each word with a black fine-point marker and haphazardly cut the words free. Lay out the items to create a balanced appearance then adhere the frame, quote and buttons to the paper with Glastique.
